I have had some really exciting news I’ve been keeping a secret for the last few months. This year, moms across Oklahoma City and Emond took their time to nominate and vote for me in a few community contests and what an absolute honor to be voted OKC’s Favorite Maternity and Newborn Photographer! Why it’s so special to me:
When my family moved to Oklahoma City about 5 years ago, I had to restart my business all over again. I didn’t know anyone here and having to start at what felt like the beginning was very hard many days. But slowly through the years through my committed clients and getting to connect with other local business and a lot of of hard work getting my name out and now placing in these contests is so special. I am so grateful to the Lord for the families He has brought my way and so thankful to all of you have took time to vote and or share the link.
And it’s not just you all voting but it’s the kind words and returning clients that makes it so special.

I don’t want families just to get a pretty picture but also to walk away with memories to treasure. Here is what you can expect whether you book a lifestyle newborn photo session, a maternity session or family photography session with me.
More than 5 years of guiding families through sessions
I have been professionally photographing families for over 7 years and I am also a certified Master family photographer. What that means for you is I have seen just about everything during sessions and it doesn’t bother me. From spit up all over mom, to the toddler who refuses to let anyone hold them, to the newborn that only wants to eat during their session I have had it happen to me. And I have a lot of ways to still get you absolutely amazing photos. See the screenshot I got recently from one family session.
A relaxed, in home lifestyle newborn session
My newborn photo sessions happen right in your home, because that is where your story is being written. The place where you brought that little one home too. Their nursery, their blankets, their people. A session at home means you don’t have to pack up a brand new baby, try to remember enough diapers (for mom and baby!), a diaper bag and leave the house, which is a huge relief in those early weeks. Drinks, snacks and bottles are right there on hand. You get to sit back, be cozy and lean in to soaking up the miracle of life.
Maternity Photos that feel like you
Pregnancy goes by so fast and really is such a small section of your life story. My maternity sessions are relaxed and centered on connection, loving on your people and quiet moments of just you and your growing baby. You can plan your maternity photo session at home, one of the locat studios or at a favorite outdoor spot around the metro. I help with everything from ideas of where to have your session to what to wear to what to do with your photos afterwards!
Family Sessions Full Of Play
If you book a photo session with me be prepared for a lot of fun, chaos and love. I want you to play with your kids, be ready for a dance party and let your kids be exactly who they are. The images you will love most later on come form little your kids be kids. I keep things easy going so nobody feels like it’s a chore for pictures.
Getting Ready and During the Session Guidance
Once you book, you aren’t left in the cold. I will walk you through the best time of your session, what to wear, how to get your home ready, the location and time of day to choose, etc. I’ll give you tips on preparing your toddlers and dogs for the sessions and if questions come up I’m here to help.
Timeless, to true to life images
One aspect that sets me apart in my photos is my editing style is a natural, clean true to life so your skin actually looks like you. I don’t chase editing trends that will leave you with dated photos in just a year or two. My desire is that when your kids are grown, they can look back at these images and remember exactly how life was.
Privacy How You Want It
One thing I really want my families to feel is safe and cared for. That includes families having guidance protection to choose what and how photos are shared online and if they are shared.
I’m a local mom too.
I have come to love the Oklahoma City area so much as we’ve made it our home. I’m a mom of growing kids and I also love sharing events and places we love visiting, support and resources for new parents and connecting you to other services that are helpful in the area.
