Relaxed Shorts & Mini Sessions Throughout the Year
Throughout the year, I offer a few limited edition mini sessions and short sessions that provide you with a quick and low-stress way to get some high quality photos to help you remember this current stage of your family. Spring Giving Mini sessions open the way for you to update your photos and give to local ministries helping mamas and babies.
I do not hold traditional fall mini sessions but I do hold something better – short sessions – these are mini sessions with extra! A bit longer in length, delivery and service. I do offer limited golden hour Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions that give you a perfect holiday backdrop if that’s up your alley.
All my clients received access to a session and style guide including a few clickable link guides and styling mood boards. Recommend fall colors are neutral and autumn colors. (Check out what to wear for fall photos).
How do I know which session type is best for our family photos?
Mini Sessions are great if you want just a few more portrait style photos. While I still take a more relaxed approach due to the time constraints it it is not the same relaxed feel as short or full sessions. You also are not guaranteed individual photos or many assortments of photos.
Basically, a mini session is a very shortened version of a regular session. It’s on a set date at a set place, both decided upon by the photographer. And then usually the session is a very small amount of time and a limited set amount of photos. You can read some of the advantages and disadvantages of a mini session in this blog post here.
If you can I do highly encourage you to just go for my full session – it comes with an online styling service and more time. You can choose different collections that you want for your needs. But most of all it gives us an hour or more together that enables me to get to know you, let your kids relax and let their true selves shine! A great option for this is an in-home session celebrating some of your favorite holiday traditions.
