Keep Memories of These Moments with Relaxed, Short Family Photo Sessions
Avoid the Posing Pressure of Mini Sessions – There’s Time to Relax and Relate with These Short Session!
We’ve all been there – high pressure sessions where Mom is trying desperately to get the kids to smile while Dad is breathing threats of terror into there ears if they don’t hold still. The result: Stiff family photos with forced smiles that might make grandma happy but don’t tell your story. And traumatized kids (and hubby) that never want photos again.
Photos should tell stories – your story. Snuggles, laughter, those twinkles in their eyes that mean “I Love You” (even if they would never say it). Photos sessions should involve playing, dancing, laughter, and LOTS of love. You need time for you little ones AND your husband to warm up so you can relax and I can photograph their true personalities.
But maybe you’re not able to swing a full lifestyle photo session – maybe you’re wanting a mini session but one with less pressure. Mama! I’ve got your back with short sessions: extended mini sessions so you can soak in the moments and let me be your memory catcher!

Short Sessions Details
Short sessions are 20-25 minutes are predetermined locations usually during golden hour (with exceptions of a few Saturday mornings). They are held during golden hour to give you the best light. I offer a few different dates and locations within the Oklahoma City area.
25 minute session / 15 digital images / $350
$150 due at booking and the remainder due the day of session.
Option to purchase more images or upgrade to full gallery for additional cost.
Perfect for maternity photos, a quick family photo session or a milestone session.
Short Sessions are limited to 1 nuclear family per session. Session and Clothing guide will be provided.
Basically, a mini session is a very shortened version of a regular session. It’s on a set date at a set place, both decided upon by the photographer. And then usually the session is a very small amount of time and a limited set amount of photos. You can read some of the advantages and disadvantages of a mini session in this blog post here.
If you are able, I encourage you to just go for my full session – it comes with an online styling service and more time. You can choose different collections that you want for your needs. But most of all it gives us an hour or more together that enables me to get to know you, let your kids relax and let their true selves shine! A great option for this is an in-home session celebrating some of your favorite holiday traditions.
