Putting together this post recapping the 3rd annual Nurture Fest makes my heart do a happy dance. What started as a small dream a few years ago—to celebrate breastmilk mamas and support them in their breastfeeding journeys—has now grown into a sold-out event that welcomed 60 mamas this year. I’m both delighted and deeply grateful.
Nurture Fest 2025 was on a lovely Saturday evening in early June. The 60 incredible moms that attended had their breastmilk journeys celebrated with mini individual photo sessions and a large group photo. The event was supported by 9 amazing sponsors and community partners. It was a delightful evening of sunshine, refreshing mocktails (huge shoutout to The Sipsy Schooner), and yummy local treats, creating the perfect space for moms to connect with one another and with local businesses that are here to support them.

I heard from a few mamas that said, “Seeing all these other mamas gave me encouragement to keep going.” And that is the heart of Nurture Fest. Breastfeeding can be a beautiful, but also challenging and lonely journey. My hope is that this event brings encouragement and connection—and helps link mamas to resources so they feel supported for however long their journey may be.
I’m incredibly grateful to the sponsors, volunteers, and photographers who helped make this evening possible. You were part of something really special.
It’s an honor getting to celebrate women and letting these mamas know how amazing they are for the work they have put in to nourish their little ones. From pumping moms, to EBF mamas to mamas with donor milk there were so many incredible stories there.
