As an Edmond Family Photographer, I find so many families like to wait until the last minute in the fall to book their family photo session but let me tell you, summer can be one of the best times for updating family photos. Seriously! You can get beautiful scenery and not freeze your noses off. Plus generally you can plan your schedule a little better which allows you to plan it and make it a time that is fun for your family rather than at the end of a stressful day.
There are so many different options to choose for you location here in the Oklahoma City and Edmond area. I have a list of several of the favorite photo locations here in OKC and I come alongside my clients and ask lots of questions so we can find the location that fits your family best.
I also always love it when families welcome me in to photograph more events of their life. This sweet family I had the privilege of doing their newborn session and then got to photograph them again when their little guy had just passed his 6 month birthday. I mean seriously isn’t he adorable?! Since their newborn session had been at home we choose Lake Arcadia for this session.
Some things to expect during a session with me as your Edmond Family Photographer
- Playfulness – I seek to incorporate a relaxed and playful attitude during our session so that we can bring out the best in your kids (and in the husbands too!) Families play and adventure together! My desire is for your session to showcase that.
- Connection – gone are the days of stiff “smile at the photographer” posing. You get to do lots of snuggling and laughter with your families during your session.
- Memories – instead of dreading your photo sessions, I hope your family and littles will look forward to coming back for more because it was a good memory for them. And you also get images that you can cherish and value for years to come.
If you too are ready to plan your fall family photos then let’s get your session schedule. Outdoor or indoor lifestyle, I am here to serve you and help you get those memories captured! I would be honored to serve you!
