What To Expect

1. Booking Your Session

Fresh 48 sessions happen in the hospital or birth center within the first two days after birth. Reach out during pregnancy so we can tentatively reserve your due date. Once baby arrives, just shoot me a message when you’re settled and I’ll coordinate with you or your partner to schedule a time that works. These sessions are short and sweet, so we’ll find a window that doesn’t disrupt rest, feedings, or any medical care.

2. Prep Guides

No need to dress up or overthink it—Fresh 48 sessions are meant to document this raw, beautiful, in-between moment. I’ll send a simple guide with outfit ideas (think cozy robes, neutral swaddles, and soft colors).

3. Session Day

Your little one is here! These sessions are documentary in style—your partner brushing baby’s hair, those sleepy stretches, the little details like hospital bands and tiny toes. If siblings are visiting, we’ll capture their reactions too. Honest, emotional images of your first moments together.

4. Happy Dance Day – Gallery Delivery

You’ll receive a gallery of hand-edited images within 2 weeks. Every image is edited by me with care, never outsourced. I also understand the desire for privacy—many Fresh 48 families choose to keep these photos for themselves, and I fully respect that. These images are a quiet, powerful reminder of what those first hours felt like.
