Each of these types of sessions is special (and I’d be honored to help with those sessions too!) but a Fresh 48 can fill a very special unique need. Whether it’s just two of you and your precious wrinkly newborn or siblings meeting for the first time, Fresh 48 session photos are a must.
The difference between a lifestyle newborn session verses a Fresh 48 photo session.
As a lifestyle newborn photographer in OKC, I usually recommend a newborn session in home within the first 4 weeks after birth. They are a much more storytelling type of session – full of sentiment, meaning and character. Because of it being in your home we can capture the environment and feelings of those first months you have with your little one.
Whereas a Fresh 48 photo session bring back the story and meaning of where your little one was born and how you felt when you first met.
Think of a lifestyle newborn session as “a day in the life: newborn edition” while a fresh 48 photo session as: “the first hours”.
When should I book a Fresh 48 photoshoot in OKC?
As soon as you want too! The sooner you get in touch the more likely I am to have space as I take only a few Fresh 48 photography sessions each month. There are a lot of factors that do go into a Fresh 48 photo session – one I go on call from the time you are 37 weeks till baby is born. Secondly I line up a back up photographer if for some reason I would not be able to be there (sickness, etc.)
